Fall/Winter 2023 Newsletter - This season's update describes the exciting new renovations that took place in three of the Bethany apartments as well as several other news items. New appliances were installed, new countertops, and flooring. The spaces are refreshed! These upgrades help "green" the building. Our staff and board members rose to the challenge and engaged in creative fundraising activities to fill some of the gaps in needed resources to continue the work of improving and upgrading the property. Other fundraising activities continue, please consider a donation!
Bethany was invited to participate in AuPairCare’s annual Exchange Day and received book bags filled with goodies for our students. There are many opportunities for volunteers to help, contact us about that.
Bethany welcomes two new board members, Minnie Baskerville and Edward Johnson. Edward made ties to sell to support Bethany over the holiday season.
The newsletter ends with an update from Board President Carol Bullard-Bates. She says in part, "As we see so many families losing their lives and their homes in other countries, we are grateful that our families have a safe and secure place to live... Have a meaningful time over this special time of the year!"
